Sphero Mini

The Sphero Mini Activity Kit squeezes a huge experience into a tiny programmable robot the size of a ping pong ball. Drive, game, create and get inspired with the guided activity cards, accessories, and construction set. Packed with teeny tiny tech, Sphero Mini has a little gyroscope, accelerometer, and a customizable LED light that glows in any color of your choice.  Control your Mini any way you like through any obstacles you build with the Sphero Play app, or use your robot toy as a game controller for arcade-style games, perfect for playing on-the-go or with limited space. Use the Blocks drive mode to give your Mini basic drag and drop coding commands, or download the Sphero Edu app for more ways to program your educational bot, including JavaScript and Swift.

To use the Sphero, you’ll need to use your own smartphone or tablet, and download the free Sphero app.  You can check out GLADL’s Silverspot tablet that has the Sphero apps loaded.

Sphero SPRK +

This is the big brother to the Sphero Mini.   Sphero SPRK+ is a robot controlled by an app on a tablet or smartphone. It incorporates robotics, coding and STEAM principals together through discovery and play.  Learn to program the robot, and complete fun activities. You can program a painting, navigate a maze, mimic the solar system, swim across water or even have a dance party! Use your imagination to code your own programs and activities.

To use the Sphero, you’ll need to use your own smartphone or tablet, and download the free Sphero app.  One tablet is included in this kit that comes preloaded with the Sphero apps.  You can also check out GLADL’s Silverspot tablet that has the Sphero apps loaded.
