Why Become a Citizen Scientist

  • SunSketcher : Using a smartphone, measure the shape of the sun to a few parts per million by photographing Baily’s Beads.
  • Eclipse Soundscapes: Record how wildlife is affected by an eclipse! As an “Observer” you will use all senses available to you and report your experience.

  • Planet Hunters TESS: Help identify distant undiscovered planets using NASA data
